Uniting the Chorale with Second Presbyterian's magnificent Casavant Freres organ is Ken Cowan, one of North America's finest concert organists. Praised for his dazzling artistry and impeccable technique, Ken, along with Louisville baritone James Rittenhouse, will join the Chorale in Durufle's incomparable and virtuosic Requiem. A companion work by English composer Gerald Finzi - Lo, The Full, Final Sacrifice - completes the program with its thought-provoking setting of Thomas Aquinas's text in Richard Crashaw's translation.
